Warrant – Meeting Planner Music Club – Special Edition

Jani Lane Warrant Dead at 47

I had a love hate relationship with hair bands growing up, the music was fun and loud but I never admitted to anyone that I ever actually listened to it… LOL.

Now that a few years have gone by you will actually find some hair metal leaking into my playlists because I have come to realize that  it is my playlist and I can listen to whatever I want.

That being said, it is time to say RIP to Jani Lane, the lead singer of the group Warrant who was found dead today in Los Angeles at the age of 47.

Warrant had a string of hits in the 80s including Heaven, Down Boys and the controversial (at the time) Cherry Pie.

I can honestly say that I have no Warrant on my iPod, my computer or even on old dusty CDs, my hair metal spectrum falls more to the Dio, Ozzy and Motley Crue side of things.

I do remember Warrant  fondly though as a band that was good for turning up loud, having a beer and hanging with the fellas.
