Find the Facebook Page ID for Your Conference or Event

Here is one for your inner techie because this actually comes up more than you would think.

Sometimes, you have to know your Facebook page ID. You might have a WordPress plugin that needs it, an application that needs it, or you might be sitting alone on your couch one night eating Cheetos. You might say to yourself, “I wonder what my Facebook Page ID is”…. whatever the reason, it does not matter; you just have to have it, and finding it can be a wondrous pain in the ass.

You might go looking on Google, and you will find all kinds of ways that seem really confusing and challenging. Some want you to right-click on your profile picture, there are some that want you to chant in the moonlight, and I am sure that there are others that will have you standing on your head, but let’s make it easy, and available in under 10 seconds.

When you need to find your page ID, follow these simple steps:

Go to https://graph.facebook.com/username (REPLACE “USERNAME” WITH YOUR PAGE NAME).

BAM-up pops all the information you could ever want about your Facebook page. I have pulled a screenshot from the Red Bull page so you can see where to look.

Now just copy and paste the page ID. Pretty simple and will save a ton of hair-pulling.
