Welcome the weekend people.

We meeting and event planners use the term “weekend” pretty loosely. I know that you might be setting up a meeting in Montreal, a Conference in Cancun, or an Incentive in Ibiza, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t take a few hours on a Friday to chill out, throw on some tunes, and take a minute for yourself… really, you can… Unless of course you can’t. Then I totally get it…

The Drink

  • What: “The Buzzed Lebowski” a take on the classic White Russian
  • From: The Meatball Shop

Ingredients

  • 1½ oz. vodka
  • 1 oz. Grady’s Cold Brew (Grady’s Cold Brew is an iced coffee concentrate, there are other brands out there including Trader Joe’s – but Grady’s is the best)
  • ¾ oz. Kahlua
  • ¾ oz. cream
  • Espresso beans for garnish

Directions

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass. Add ice, shake and strain over one large cube in a rocks glass. Yes, if you don’t have one large cube, you can use good-ol-regular ice but why not be trendy, you can grab the King Cube ice tray on Amazon for less than $10.00. Garnish with espresso beans.

Thanks to the Meatball Shop for dreaming this up and to Grady’s Cold Brew  for just being awesome.

The Meatball Shop

The Meatball Shop is a fast casual restaurant specializing in meatballs with 5 locations in New York City and yes o-wise-meeting-peeps, The Meatball Shop does have space for a private event at the Chelsea location, so check em out when you get a chance.

The Pickled Planner

The Pickled Planner is a weekly feature of PlannerWire that has two things. A drink recipe and links to awesome and unique meeting or event venues and destinations. Technically, we think that you could write off the drinks but check with your accountant first.
