If Public Transportation Can Be Exciting, Your Event Should Be Easy

Chicago El Howard Stop

I have a 5 year old son; he kicks ass; he likes to do kick ass things and because he likes to do those things, I am forced to join in and do them too. That means it is cool to be me because I get to follow along and see the world through his eyes.

This is what I did over the weekend; I stood over the Howard Street El station and looked down on the world as it moved north and south, east and west.  It was an amazing thing to watch, an average thing that I see all the time, but this time, I was looking through the eyes of wonder…. And this is what made it unbelievable.

So, this begs a question.. if something as simple as an El ride can be made exciting just by looking through the eyes of a 5 year old, you would think that it is possible to make your events exciting again by looking at them through the eyes of your attendees and creating what they really want to see.

Remember, anything can be exciting, it all depends on how you look at it.
