Emma and EventBrite – Email Marketing Meets Event Registration

Emma and EventBrite for Event Marketing

One of the cool new kids on the email marketing block is Emma. They have quickly become a PlannerWire favorite by wowing us with a great feature set, their enthusiasm to help clients, and their ease of use.

Emma’s features:

  • Customizable, mobile-optimized, email templates
  • Drag & drop layouts and inline text editing
  • Subject line split testing
  • Smart, powerful segmentation
  • Reporting that is not too complicated but not too lite
    Looks great on Mobile
  • Drip campaign automation (very powerful for event marketing)
  • Good integration with Google Analytics, Salesforce, Shopify, and social networks
  • iOS and Android Apps

For a really good look at what they are about, check out this video.

Their latest integration caught us off-guard. We didn’t see it coming. Not one of our little birdies gave us a heads-up, which means there is one little birdie that is not getting a beer the next time we hang out… But anyway, enough about my failure as an eventtech snoop, let’s get to the good stuff.

Emma and EventBrite – An integration made in EventProf Heaven

Event Marketing for EventProfs

When I received the email out of the blue last week that asked if I had heard that Emma was now offering EventBrite integration I thought “how freaking cool is that”… We must tell the world!

Here is a snip from the press statement:

With this integration, you’ll be able to display your Evenbrite events directly in your emails and track the resulting ticket sales and revenue in our Response section. We’re particularly excited about giving you the option to show multiple events in one email, each with their own ticket purchase button and sales/attendee tracking. We’ll show you how many tickets you’ve sold to each event, as well as totals for the entire mailing.

This is pretty powerful stuff, considering most event marketers don’t track vital stats the way they should. It’s not that they don’t want to. Most don’t know how, or it is just difficult. Welcome to easy…
