Event Planner Roundup – February 25th Edition

Computers are breaking all over the office this week, sometimes I think that they are out to get me. Luckily, I live in Chicago and we are fortunate to have TigerDirect Store and a MicroCenter right down the street from each other. It is like Geek Nirvana……….Clicky Mechanical Keyboard here I come.

While I am off and running, you can grab a cup of coffee, sit back and read a few articles that I think might interest all of you meeting and event pros out there.

Peter Straube

This is a Jenise Fryatt post on Peter Straube’s blog “Events for Change” from back in November

Jeff Hurt

Jeff Hurt, a familiar name to those that read PlannerWire, this is his latest. If you do not laugh at the imagery here, you might be in a coma or want to check your pulse.

Mike McCurry

I love Mike McCurry’s writing and would love it if he had a new post (hint, hint). This post is from August but is relevant to me due to the upcoming NATO and G8 Summits that are hitting Chicago in a few weeks.

Julius Solaris

Julius is good at the headline and the next one certainly caught my eye and what is even better is that the article does not disappoint. Really, number 12 makes me laugh and want to puke at the same time. This is a really cool post.

Greg Ruby

Greg Ruby challenges us in this post, rather than thinking outside of the box, he has brought the question inside the box….

Have a great weekend everyone!
